Madison goes back to the hospital

We had to take Madison to Children’s last night and she was admitted.  She had stopped eating over the course of the day, and that is a tell tale sign that her shunt is having issues.  The doctors agreed, and she was scheduled for surgery today (Friday, January 11, 2008) to have her permanent shunt placed.  We expected to have the permanent shunt put in this month anyway, so this is not a total shock, but the onset was a little sudden.  She is in the NICU at Children’s, and she could be out in a day or two depending on how the surgery goes.  I’m at home with Chloe and Noah, and Julie spend the night and remains at the hospital with Madison.  I’ll update people as I learn more.
